Collage on paper
will be featured in a group show at the Belskie Museum of Art and Science in Closter, NJ. The exhibition Growth and Change, An Artistic Interpretation is on view Jan. 6 to 27, 2019.
My statement to accompany the work:
What are we making of the tree of our own lives and the boulder that is all eternity? “The energy contained in nature, in the earth and its waters, in the atom and the sunshine will not avail us if we fail to activate the most precious vital energy: the moral-spiritual energy inherent in humankind, in the inner recesses of our being, in our mysterious, uncompromising, unfathomable and divinely inspired soul.” David Ben-Gurion
Ann Connelly Fine Arts in Baton Rouge, LA is now representing my mixed media works. They quickly placed two paintings into the collection of the Albemarle Corporation in Charlotte, NC and Houston TX. I am excited to be included in their stable of artists. A recent painting, “Ever Since Rivers Were Made” at 54 X 60" is now in Louisiana to join “Boulders and Birches” in the gallery. I look forward to making new friends and finding new collectors with help from Ann Connelly Gallery in this elegant new setting.
